Annabel is a qualified counsellor in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling and a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). She brings a powerful mix of clinical expertise, lived insight, and frontline experience to her work, both in the therapy room and in the classroom.
Her professional background spans some of the most complex and confronting areas of the therapeutic field, including working with high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse, survivors of sexual violence, and individuals navigating issues around sex, relationships, and power. Her core focus is trauma, how it shapes behaviour, disrupts connection, and impacts the way we show up in relationships, including the one we have with ourselves.
Annabel’s teaching style is fun, highly engaging, and full of real-world relevance. She breaks complex concepts down with clarity and ease, making counselling theory both accessible and applicable. Her sessions are known for being emotionally intelligent, supportive, and infused with the kind of grounded wisdom that only comes from lived and professional experience.
Above all, Annabel is passionate about creating a learning space where students feel seen, stretched, and supported, where personal growth runs alongside skill-building, and learners leave not just with tools, but with a deeper understanding of people.
She is also a CPCAB approved tutor.
